Since the summer semester 2011, students of the LMU Munich School of Management can apply for a Deutschlandstipendium. The alumni network of the LMU Management Alumni faculty has supported the nationwide scholarship program since the beginning - both as a scholarship provider itself and in the acquisition of sponsors.

We are pleased to have the alumni network of the Faculty of Business Administration LMU Management Alumni e.V., a partner from the very beginning as a sponsor of the Deutschlandstipendium. The association has already supported 136 students with the Deutschlandstipendium. Thanks to this support, many scholarship holders have not only been able to devote themselves more intensively to their studies, but have also been able to pursue their voluntary activities or even expand them in some cases. Thus, this scholarship not only supports the individual, but also benefits a much wider circle of our society.

The Deutschlandstipendium was introduced in the summer semester of 2011 to support students and first-year students whose careers indicate outstanding achievements in their studies and careers. The scholarship holders receive 300 euros per month - half from the federal government and the other half from private donors.
The faculty's alumni network LMU Management Alumni has supported the nationwide scholarship program since its inception - both as a scholarship provider itself and in the acquisition of sponsors.
Since the founding of the Deutschlandstipendium, we have already been able to award 117 scholarships and thus help a great many students to successfully complete their studies.
The selection criteria also include not only academic and Abitur achievements, but also in particular social and university commitment as well as social or personal circumstances.
10 years of the Deutschlandstipendium are thus a success story that we have had the privilege of writing from the very beginning and will continue to accompany, because in these times in particular, this support is more urgent than ever.

I would like to thank you for sponsoring me with the Deutschlandstipendium. It means a lot to me because it gives me more time to focus on my studies.
On the one hand, the scholarship enables me to concentrate very well on my university education, both on my major studies in business administration at the LMU and on my certificate studies at the Munich School of Philosophy. On the other hand, I can devote a lot of time to my position as a senior (dormitory speaker) in the Newman-Haus dormitory. This commitment is very important to me and is close to my heart, because I can help to shape life in the house and my fellow residents can enjoy being together.
I would like to thank you and the LMU Management Alumni Association very much for your support. Especially in the current exceptional situation and after an internship offer fell through, it was a load off my mind when I got the email.
